Important Announcements for Last Day of Homecoming 2010

WARRIORS!

That was a LEGENDARY Pep Rally yesterday. Thanks to all the performers for sharing their talents, all the competitors for giving their all, all the faculty and staff for supporting us along the way and all of our Student Government officials for working tirelessly to make it so great!

And Thank YOU for having a great time with us!

Also, great job to both our Warriors and Lady Warriors Basketball Teams. Though the Lady Warriors took a loss to the Lady Wolverines at IDEA Public Charter School, the Warriors TROUNCED the Wolverines by close to 30 points in our Home Opener! Congratulations!

TONIGHT is TMA's second annual Homecoming dance and if you didn't get the announcement already, these are a few things you need to know before you come:

  1. The Homecoming Dance is from 7-10pm at the TMA Gymnasium (aka, The Supreme Court)
  2. To attend the dance, your ticket for $15 must have already been purchased: there will be no ticket sales at the door!
  3. Dress Code: Attire for the dance is semi-formal; Students may NOT wear athletic wear, jeans or casual attire; Skirts and dresses must be at appropriate length and men must wear pants/slacks and an oxford-style shirt (dress shirt). Also, the code for TMA Dress-Down days are also in effect (no inappropriate designs or logos, skirts must be no more than 2in above the knee, no hats or sunglasses can be worn inside the building, midriffs or cut-off shirts, bandannas and flip flops are not allowed.)
  4. A picture booth will be available for $10 and light refreshments will also be available for purchase.
  5. IMPORTANT: Students MUST present their school ID in order to be admitted to the dance: Homecoming 2010 is closed to the public.
So, now that we have this essential information, let's have a great final day of HOMECOMING. If you have any other questions, comment on this blog post or on our Facebook page and we will get back to you!
