TMA Sports Update- January 5, 2011

THIS IS YOUR TMA SPORTS UPDATE FOR January 5, 2011

WARRIORS:

The first basketball game series of 2011 was one of the most exciting of the season! The January 4th Series was at home against Washington Math and Science.

The Lady Warriors fought a close game against Washington MST. Even after sustaining an injury with half of a second left in the game, the Warriors fought on, but unfortunately lost a close game in one of the most electrifying Lady Warriors games of the season!
The final score: Warriors 21, WMST 23.

The 7pm game for the Warriors was an even better repeat than last year's match-up against WMST. After a game full of turnovers by WMST and picture-ready executions by our Warriors,
the final score was Warriors 52, WMST 17, leaving them with a FLAWLESS 5-0 RECORD!

Upcoming: On tomorrow, January 6, 2011, our Warriors and Lady Warriors play away against Booker T. Washington- wish them the best of luck!

Happy New Year from your TMA Student Government

Happy New Year, Warriors!

2011 is here and we have so much to look forward to in this new year! We have just over half of the 2010-2011 School Year left, and we have some work to do.

Congratulations to the Class of 2011, who are most likely celebrating their last few months as high school students tonight.

Send thanks to your Class Representatives tonight or very soon in the future for the great jobs they are doing representing you on Student Government and for putting together great initiatives that help enhance student life at TMA.

We cannot wait to see you and continue to serve you on Monday, so in the meanwhile, have a Happy New Year and we look forward to spending it with you!

-Your TMA Student Government
